Doohan: Rossi's Up Glory Era

Jerez - five times MotoGP world champion from Australia, Mike Doohan, expressed confidence that the heyday Valentino Rossi will soon be over. Rossi who has entered the 12th year in motor racing event is expected to accelerate the end of his career in MotoGP. Moreover, Rossi suffered a shoulder injury that do not heal since last year.

As quoted from the Super Sport, Doohan said period of 10 years is the maximum time an active athlete in the sport that he wrestled. Doohan, who retired because of a severe accident in the final season was also a little regret Rossi's move to Ducati Corse.

From the first two MotoGP races this season, Rossi with his new team failed to achieve maximum results. He was only able to reach the seventh position when the race was held in Qatar. Rossi could only finish fifth race at Jerez.

Rossi is currently only earned 20 points from two races. Position 25 points adrift of the first inhabitants of the position standings MotoGP, Jorge Lorenzo, on a Yamaha.
