Casey Stoner's fastest 1000 cc

Brno - Team Repsol Honda rider who won the series in the Czech MotoGP, Casey Stoner, became the fastest in testing bikes 1,000 cc engine capacity, on Monday (8/15/2011) in Brno or Tuesday pm. 1,000 cc motorcycle is a prototype of a motorcycle that will be used for MotoGP 2012.

After a series of Czech MotoGP race, all teams are allowed to test the 1,000 cc motorcycle. Stoner clocked one minute 56.168 seconds to traverse one round.

"The result today is quite good, but we have to do some repairs. We find some positive things and confirmed some pointers to more forward," said Stoner.

According to Stoner, the bike having problems of vibration in the front tire, but that problem should not be difficult to deal with repairs on brake systems and engine management system. On the other hand, the engine is fantastic and very enjoyable because the 1,000 cc motor has more power and amazing acceleration.

Second in this trial occupied by Jorge Lorenzo on a Yamaha with a time of 1 minute 56.253 seconds and third place was occupied by Ben Spies, teammate Lorenzo, with a time of 1 minute 56.306 seconds.

"I realize the 1,000 cc motor is extraordinary as it travels in a straight line. I really like this bike and predict MotoGP next season will be enormous because the bike is very big effort," said Lorenzo.
