Novak Djokovic Rogers Cup finals

MONTREAL - Top seed Novak Djokovic crushed dreams up Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-4, 3-0 before ensuring a ticket to the final of the ATP Rogers Cup Montreal Masters on Sunday (08/14/2011).

French tennis player Jo Wilfried Tsonga only able to provide resistance for less than one hour due to injury to his right arm and asked the coach do the treatment arm after losing a set and behind by 0-3 in the second set.

"I feel pain in the arm," said Tsonga as written by the AFP news agency. "It was three days. It was hard to hit the ball well and hard. That's why I took this decision."

With this victory, Djokovic closer towards her ninth title this year. He will compete for the title with a match against the United States, Mardy Fish. Fish is now ranked eighth of the world, advanced to the finals bulldoze the Serb, Janko Tipsarevic in the semifinal.

Final between Djokovic and Fish is expected to be a fun game and much awaited tennis fans the world, especially to see if the world number one managed to reach his ambition to defend his title a record throughout the season in which he won in 52 of 53 matches.

Djokovic is currently also trying to become the first player to win five championships Masters 1000 ATP World Tour in a season. "I raise the levels (the game) I was at every match," Djokovic said. "Being number one is my lifelong goal. Now I have to achieve it. I do not need to be afraid of what would happen next," he concluded.
